Not only is granola versatile, but this recipe is also very flexible so that you can make it your perfect granola. Experiment with different nuts, chia seeds, raisins, quinoa…The best part is that this recipe works with honey OR the crispier, less sugar sub condensed milk. If you have both, experiment with both. Even better, the brown sugar, cinnamon, coconut residue on your hands will have you licking/slightly nibbling on all 10 fingers because it would be a sin to wash away such deliciousness. 3 cups (335 grams) whole oats
⅓ cup (60 grams) brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3 Tablespoons (60grams) Coconut oil
¼ cup (70grams) honey or condensed milk (if using honey, you can use a little less; if using condensed milk you can use a little more)
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup sliced almonds
1. Preheat oven 350 F.
2. Lay out oats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Add sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
4. Drizzle coconut oil and mix well with hands.
5. Stir vanilla into honey or condensed milk.
6. Make sure oats are evenly spread out on the baking sheet.
7. Drizzle vanilla honey mix over oats.
8. Bake @ 350F for 10minutes.
9. Take out and sprinkle almonds. Give the oats a gentle stir to mix in almonds.
10. Bake for another 10 minutes.
11. Place granola with parchment paper over wire rack to cool and harden.
